Zirconia (ZrO2)

Zirconia has high strength, hardness, high-temperature assistance, acid-base corrosion assistance, and high chemical stability. Besides, Zirconia even has higher toughness than other ceramics. This feature makes it widely used in a variety of industries, such as shaft seals, bearing, cutting components, molding, car parts, etc. It can even be used in medical treatment for biotechnology.

Fully Stabilized Zirconia (FSZ)
This is a fully cubic crystal structure, has poor mechanical properties.

Zirconia Toughened Ceramics (ZTC)
This is the combination of second-phase percipitate and other materials (Al2O3, Si3N4, glass, etc.) as an alloy compound material to improve toughness and mechanical properties.

Partially Stabilized  Zirconia (PSZ)
PSZ is the kind of ZrO2 that our company manufactures. PSZ added Y2O3 in order to make a tetragonal phase in the cubic phase. Due to the tetragonal phase having a phase transformation toughening feature, so PSZ has better toughness.

Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystals (TZP)
TZP added Y2O3-ZrO2 to make it has higher mechanical properties, strength, toughness, and chemical stability. TZP is widely used in the structure and biomedical field.
